CANVAS Dance Arts

Ballet/Hip Hop Beginning classes are an introduction to dance and performance. Dancers will explore the basics in both styles, build strength, flexibility, and coordination, and create a dance routine for a final performance. See you on the dance floor!

Classes are 50 minutes in length. Unless invited into the studio by the instructor, grown-ups may wait in the hallway or backstage during this class.

This is a Full session private class for Hamlin Kindergarten and concludes with a stage performance.

Dates: Jan 13, 20, 27, Feb 3, 10, 24, Mar 3, 10, 17, 24, Apr 14, 21, 28, May 5, 12, 19 (No class Feb 17, Mar 31, Apr 7)

***Full Session performing classes participate in our Spring Recital on Sunday, May 23. Your session fee includes: recital participation and a recital costume.

Performance Location: Palace of Fine Arts, 3601 Lyon Street, SF (map)

Performance Time: TBA midway through the session. Please note siblings or dancers in two classes may participate in separate shows.

On performance day, dancers should provide their own:

• pink tights
• pink ballet shoes
• hair in a ballet bun or tight ponytail

• This is a private group class and is not open for public registration.
• Priority registration for the following session will be offered to currently enrolled students
• Register only once, duplicate registrations will not receive a full refund
