CANVAS Dance Arts

Ballet/Hip Hop Beginning classes are an introduction to dance and performance. Dancers will explore the basics in both styles, build strength, flexibility, and coordination, and create a dance routine for a final performance. See you on the dance floor!

Casses are 50 minutes in length. Unless invited into the studio by the instructor, grown-ups may wait in the hallway or backstage during this class.

This is a Full session private class for Burkes Kindergartners and concludes with a stage performance on Sunday, May 23, 2027 at Palace of Fine Arts Theatre. Time TBA.

Performance Time: TBA midway through the session. Please note siblings or dancers in two classes may participate in separate shows.

Performance Location: Palace of Fine Arts, 3601 Lyon Street, SF (map)

On performance day, dancers should provide their own:

• pink tights
• pink ballet shoes
• hair in a tight ponytail or bun

Registration notes

• This is a private group class and is not open for public registration.
• Priority registration for the following session will be offered to currently enrolled students
• Register only once, duplicate registrations will not receive a full refund
