The God Box Practice

A Guided Ritual of Surrender, Release, and Trust

Sometimes what we are carrying does not need to be solved immediately. Sometimes it simply needs somewhere else to rest.

We all carry things — worries, fears, uncertainty, concerns for those we love, and situations beyond our control. Even when we know we cannot fix everything, we may find ourselves holding on, turning things over and over in our minds.

What if we could practice setting some of that down?

The God Box Practice is a gentle, guided ritual that invites us to pause, recognize what we are carrying, meet it with compassion, and practice surrendering what is not ours to control.

Rooted in the wisdom of spiritual traditions that teach surrender and trust, this practice invites us to remember that we are not alone. Whether you understand that greater support as God, the Divine, the universe, love, or simply something larger than yourself, you are welcome.

Together, we will explore:

• Mindful awareness of what we are carrying
• Compassionate reflection and writing
• The practice of surrender and trust
• A simple ritual of placing something down
• Ways to continue the practice in everyday life

This is not a craft workshop, and no special materials or previous meditation experience are needed. Bring a pen, some paper, and any simple container — a box, jar, bowl, or envelope will do.

There is nothing to make perfectly. Nothing to perform.

Just an invitation to loosen our grip, make a little room, and remember that we do not have to carry everything alone.

Registration fees are refundable through November 28, 2026.

After November 28, registrations are nonrefundable but may be transferred to another person by contacting SheyGlobal before the workshop.

If SheyGlobal cancels the workshop, all registration fees will be refunded.
