Ready, Set, RACE, Recycle!

Mark Your Calendars because the Recycle Derby is less than 1 month away! The First Place Team will Win FREE Beer for a Year and up to $800!

Alright, now that we have your attention, don’t worry, there will be awesome prizes for 2nd and 3rd place, along with the EPIC FAIL! But to win you must race! Coastal Connections, Inc has teamed up with Walking Tree Brewery Vero Beach to host a one-of-a-kind event to promote RECYCLING to protect sea turtles. Teams will race around obstacles and challenges in their “cars” made from 75% recyclable materials but the fastest team is not guaranteed the ultimate prize. Your team’s creativity and showmanship will be important for the judging of this fun-filled event.

Important Dates:
Team Registration - Due by September 10th - Complete online or at Walking Tree

Event Day - September 25th - Come watch the races!

Race Sign-in 12 pm

The Races Are Off - 1-3 pm

Awards - 3:30 pm

Vendors and Raffle - 12-4 pm

Don’t think you can race, but still would like to watch the fun, please join us on September 25th from 12-4 pm. Grab a drink and find a chair because it’s going to be the funniest thing we have ever seen, plus $1 from every pint goes to support Coastal Connections, Inc on race day. Event t-shirts will be made from 100% recycled fabric.
