INDIGO Education is partnering with Twin Cities Education Consultants, LLC. to offer Nonviolent Intervention Training (NCI), a program of the Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI).

Initial Class: This class is designed for people who have never had CPI training or have had a long lapse since they were initially trained (2+ years ago).

There is a classroom portion focusing on de-escalation techniques (approx. 4 - 5 hours) and a physical portion to practice holding and disengagement skills (2.5 hours).

This portion of the course would require physical contact by staff. Please ensure that the staff coming to this event are aware that there will be physical contact for the practicing holds and disengagement skills portions.

A 30-45 minute lunch break will be provided. Please bring your lunch, or there are some nearby local places to pick up food.

The BLUE CARD/CPI Certification will be provided after the completion of this 8-hour course.
