Join the Faculty Hub for an interactive session on Getting Started with Alternative Assessment.

Throughout the session, we will:

Define three different methods of alternative assessment (Specifications Grading, Contract Grading, Ungrading) and look at an example syllabus of each
Identify benefits and challenges of each approach
Review UR student perspectives on their experiences taking classes using alternative grading methods
Discuss with colleagues how one or more of these approaches might be adapted to fit your unique discipline/teaching contexts

Note: Participants may choose to join in-person at the Faculty Hub or remotely via zoom. Coffee, tea, and snacks will be available in the Faculty Hub for those attending in-person.
