Level 1: Certified Instructor Evaluation

This is a private class for instructor candidates who have passed our Level 1 online course and are ready to take their in-person evaluation.

Frequently Asked Questions

As discussed in our online program, we will be providing additional instruction and evaluating your shooting and teaching performance.

You must pass all exercises and meet the 8 specific marksmanship standards shared with you in the online program.

Pistol of your choice with a common caliber, such as 9mm. (No race guns, no compensators or ported barrels, no external flared magwells. If you have a compensator or ported barrel, please contact us for adjusted par time standards.)
Proper on belt holster (IWB or OWB) and pistol mag pouches.
At least 3 magazines.
At least 400 rounds of ammo per firearm.
Eye and ear protection.
Comfortable shoes. Most of the day, we will be on our feet.
Chair/stool.
Sunscreen and a hat (Optional, but we will spend a lot of time in the sun.)
Drinks and food.
