This online or on demand session will provide an opportunity for sole traders and small therapy businesses to consider increasing access to their therapy services through creative implementation of assistants.

This session is suitable for those considering implementing an assistant model or those who are currently working with assistants but are keen to expand these services.

Kendra will describe a five point planning framework based on systems thinking that can be used for planning services and as a continual improvement process when expanding your assistant models.

About the Presenter: Kendra has worked with AHA models since graduating over thirty years ago across rural, remote and metropolitan services and in both public and private contexts. She was a project leader for the WA Country Health Service developing the AHA policy and processes still in operation in WA and also developed online training programs in delegation models of care. Kendra aims to inspire and encourage both consideration of Assistant models and innovation in how services can expand community access to support using this model of care.
