Printmaking with Recycled Materials - One day Workshop

A one day exploration into printing with recycled materials by hand and using the etching press.
In this course you will explore the mark making potential from the plastic boxes and cartons we all have. You will be able to create layers of colour monoprints using a variety of techniques that you could use at home.
You will be shown how to cut and draw into tetra pack containers and print amazing colourful plates using the etching presses and tools in the studio. Creating detailed fine lines and textures.
This is a fun and engaging course suitable for all abilities you will go home with armfuls of beautiful prints. You can also make prints onto fine fabric and then sew into them later on. All materials supplied. I will bring plastic containers from my supplies for the course. You are welcome to also bring some of your own.

Do bring an apron to protect your clothes. You will go away with some great designs and your own blocks to use again at home. All materials included.

Bookings are only confirmed on receipt of the full cost of the course. We reserve the right to cancel the course at a weeks notice if there are less than 4 participants booked.

We will not be liable for any childcare, travel or accommodation fees lost due to cancellation by us.

Cancellation Policy:

The sum of £50, will be lost If you cancel at short notice (less than 2 weeks before the course start). If your place cannot be filled, no monies will be returned.
