Writing Co-Lab endeavors for every member of the community to feel respected, witnessed, and safe in our online spaces. While sharing creative work inherently raises anxiety and requires vulnerability, we want that experience to be as positive as possible, and hope students feel supported and encouraged to bring their best, most honest selves to the page and to their classes. We believe in practicing consideration, compassion, and acceptance of every writer. Discrimination, harassment, or abuse on the basis of ability, age, appearance, economic class, gender identification, national origin, neurotype, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or any other aspect of the author’s identity will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal from class and the Writing Co-Lab community. Additionally, work produced in and during Co-Lab classes, or shared in workshops, belongs solely to the author. Plagiarism or idea theft will not be tolerated.

Writing Co-Lab is able to offer a full refund with seven days’ notice of your class start date. Within seven days, but more than 24 hours before class begins, we are able to offer a 75% refund. After that point, you are ineligible for a refund.
