After School Comic and Manga Class
For Middle and High School Students

Spaces are limited to 12 students.

In this program, students will create a mini comic. The students will meet once a week on Tuesdays after school. They will learn how to design characters and tell a story visually with drawings. We will document our work and make a mini documentary about our process. On the first Friday in May, there will be a showcase, this will correlate with Free Comic Book Day that following Saturday.

Supplies included. This class is free and made possible by the Van Buren Youth Initiative. We will need either a participation form or the Van Buren Youth Initiative permission form: https://forms.gle/b59GAjbHEtqQKyAy5 on file for any student that attends.

Transportation can be made available for South Haven Students- please reach out if needed. Snacks are also made a available for students.
