This course is designed to equip Commissioned School Security Officers—regardless of prior experience—with effective strategies for defending their school district using a semi-automatic rifle during an active shooter incident. It incorporates the core principles and fundamentals of the Intuitive Defensive® Shooting program, specifically adapted to carbine use.

Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of true Counter Ambush response techniques with a carbine, develop essential shooting skills, and learn a proven training methodology to continue improving those skills beyond the course.

Sling (we can provide slings with some notice)
500+ rounds ammunition (we can have it provided day of class if you need it at market prices, but we need to know ahead of time)
Eye and ear protection (Electronic Ear Pro preferred)
Weather appropriate clothing including a hat
