To grandchildren of any age, a grandparent fills the role of memory keeper, storyteller, fan, confidant, role model, and more. This session will focus on grandparent-grandchild bonds, and Martha will share ideas for strengthening them.

The class shares the theme of this year’s National Grandparents Day, “Stories From the Table,” and
celebrates the sharing of food, family and wisdom across generations.

Bring along a favorite family recipe, a photo of you with a grandchild of any age, and your grandchild’s mailing address. (What we do in class you will be able to replicate at home for other grandchildren.)

Activities are made possible in part by the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana, the Indiana Arts Commission, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
