“Testify!” is a campy, heartfelt, and hilarious variety show that explores the highs, lows, and absurdities of growing up religious — and the lasting effects of religious trauma. Using comedy, music, spoken word, and satirical “church service” cut-scenes, the show creates a communal, cathartic space where audiences can laugh, reflect, and even sing along.
