Tactile Explorers
For little ones 18 months-4 years and a caregiver

Class fee $225 ($25 per 45 minute class + $25 materials fee)

Tactile Explorers is a sensory-based art class for children ages 18 months-4 years old. Each week we explore a new theme with three thoughtfully arranged "invitations to create”. We always have a fine motor project or work at our table, a vertical painting or coloring project on our wall easel, and a sensory bin experience. Little ones will be empowered to make choices, explore ideas, and discover materials in a relaxed studio setting. Caregivers are invited to follow the lead of their child and support their exploration.

Since there is so much choice and free range between our open-ended activities, our neurodivergent friends have done very well here. We use one of our rooms as a “quieter space” for students to come look at themed books, in case the art room becomes overwhelming. Please reach out if you have any questions about whether this class would be a good fit for your child.

A change of clothes for your child is recommended, because fun is often messy, and sometimes wet!

The class fee for this class is slightly higher than our other toddler/preschool/caregiver classes to account for additional set-up and clean-up time and materials for the class.

Please Note!!! We are at a new location!!! We will be in the upstairs classroom at Beacon First Presbyterian Church, 50 Liberty Street, Beacon, NY 12508.
