All Saratoga Joinery members are invited to come to the shop for an expert-led presentation followed by open discussion and problem solving. Members are encouraged to bring questions and/or projects that they'd like to share or get assistance on.

Topic: Exotic Hardwoods - Local woodworker and exotic wood dealer Rich Phaneuf will take us through a variety of hardwoods and discuss their unique characteristics, workability, and best uses. Learn about grain patterns, density, finishing considerations, and how to select the right exotic wood for your projects. Rich will bring samples with him.
