The immune system and how vaccines work including interval gaps required between vaccines
Vaccine preventable diseases
The different types of vaccines used and their composition
Communication with parents
Legal aspects of vaccination
Correct administration of vaccines
Anaphylaxis and other adverse effects
Documentation, record keeping and reporting
Strategies for improving immunisation rates
