There is no guidebook for navigating the emotions that come with cancer — especially when more than one feeling can be true at the same time.

You’re invited to a 60-minute workshop that creates time to pause and reflect on emotional experiences that often accompany cancer. Through a mix of practical framing, simple reflection questions, and short facilitator stories, the session explores what it can look like to make room for conflicting emotions as they arise.

The workshop draws on core A Fresh Chapter tools, including Holding Space and Living in Contradiction, shared in a shorter, standalone format. It is peer-facilitated by trained AFC facilitators who bring lived experience alongside practical framing. Some attendees may recognize familiar ideas explored in a new structure, while others will be encountering AFC’s approach for the first time.

This session is open to anyone impacted by cancer, including those in treatment, post-treatment, caregivers, advocates, and loved ones.
