NRA Rifle & Shotgun Instructor Development Courses

Course Overview

The NRA Rifle & Shotgun Instructor Development Courses are designed for experienced shooters who want to become certified instructors and teach safe, effective firearm skills to new shooters. These programs focus on building strong teaching abilities, refining coaching techniques, and applying NRA-approved training methods across both rifle and shotgun disciplines.

Participants will learn how to deliver structured lessons, manage live-fire training safely, diagnose shooter errors, and guide students through the fundamentals of marksmanship and firearm operation.
