Concealed Carry Concepts is designed for responsible gun owners who want to move beyond basic handgun safety and learn how to actually carry and defend themselves in the real world. This course builds on the fundamentals taught in beginner classes and focuses on the skills needed to carry a concealed firearm safely, efficiently, and with confidence.

This is a hands-on training course that emphasizes practical defensive shooting skills, efficient gun handling, and real-world concealed carry considerations.

Throughout the training day we will work on:

• Proper concealed carry setup including holster selection, belt considerations, and carry positions
• Efficient drawing from concealment safely and consistently
• Building a strong, repeatable defensive grip directly from the holster
• Improving presentation from the holster to the first accurate shot
• Defensive accuracy and accountability at realistic distances
• Managing recoil for faster and more controlled follow-up shots
• Shooting under time pressure while maintaining accuracy
• Reloading techniques for concealed carry firearms
• Clearing common handgun malfunctions quickly and safely
• Movement and positional shooting concepts
• Understanding defensive distances and reaction time

In addition to shooting skills, we will also discuss several critical concealed carry concepts including:

• Situational awareness and threat recognition
• Defensive mindset and decision making
• Understanding the realities of civilian defensive gun use
• When drawing a firearm may or may not be appropriate
• Avoiding common concealed carry mistakes

This course is designed for people who already understand basic firearm safety and want to develop the skills necessary to responsibly carry a firearm for personal protection.
