Combat Marksmanship Level 3 is an advanced, performance-based course designed for civilian shooters seeking to apply strong marksmanship fundamentals at speed while working through complex shooting problems. This course emphasizes efficient weapon handling, accuracy under pressure, and advanced use of barricades and positional shooting with both rifle and pistol.

Students will engage targets from multiple barricade types and shooting positions, learning how to maximize cover, manage recoil from compromised positions, and maintain stability while working around obstacles. Drills incorporate movement, target transitions, time constraints, and decision-making, requiring shooters to apply fundamentals while fatigued and under cognitive load.

This course is not focused on tactics or team movement. The emphasis remains on individual shooting performance, accountability, and safe, effective use of cover in a civilian training environment.

Each student will need 500 rounds for rifle and 300 rounds for pistol.
Ability to carry 4 rifle magazines and 2 pistol magazines. Pockets will not be acceptable.
Proper holster for your pistol.
4 magazines rifle and 2 magazines for pistol

Training Objectives

Apply marksmanship fundamentals from advanced barricade positions
Maintain accuracy at increased speed and under time pressure
Efficiently transition between rifle and pistol around obstacles
Manage recoil and sight tracking from non-standard shooting positions

Outcome

Students will gain confidence and competence shooting from barricades, improve their ability to solve shooting problems independently, and better understand their personal performance limits while maintaining accuracy and control.

Prerequisites

Completion of Combat Marksmanship Level 2 or equivalent experience.
