This course explores how the feet and pelvis influence the whole body, drawing on current research into common lower-body conditions and their far-reaching effects. You will examine how dysfunction in the ankles, knees, and pelvis creates compensatory patterns throughout the kinetic chain — then develop hands-on skills to identify structural imbalances, design targeted treatment strategies, and apply techniques that restore function and provide lasting relief for clients.

You can expect to:

Understand how foot mechanics, knee alignment, and pelvic positioning create compensatory patterns — and how weight-bearing and gait dysfunction contribute to chronic muscular imbalances throughout the body
Develop palpation skills to detect tissue changes, adhesions, and fascial tension lines connecting the lower extremities and pelvis
Apply hands-on techniques to release key stabilizing muscles, address fascial restrictions, and restore balanced movement through the kinetic chain
Recognize contraindications and know when to refer clients to other healthcare providers
Communicate effectively with clients about their symptoms, treatment expectations, and movement strategies to maintain results between sessions
