Experience the beauty of Spring through this hands-on Chalk Pastel Workshop. Designed for artists of all levels, this lesson introduces the fundamentals of working with classic chalk pastels while exploring the art of plein air —creating directly from the natural environment.

Participants will learn how to capture light, color, and atmosphere in the Impressionist style. Through guided instruction and live demonstrations, you’ll develop techniques for blending, layering, and building composition with confidence.

Join us this Spring to slow down, observe the world around you, and bring it to life with soft pastels.

*I love 'painting' with chalk pastel because it can layer beautifully like paint, yet it's also considered a drawing medium. They are messy and bold, which encourages you to focus more on color, values and the overall essence and feel of the piece you're creating.

No prior experience is necessary. Open to Ages 16+, inquire for younger students.
