Join us on our wild 8-week adventure where we learn about 8 different animals that are often misunderstood and wrongfully cast as nature's villains! From creepy crawlers with secret superpowers, to nocturnal neighbors who actually keep our ecosystems running, we are going to debunk the myths and uncover the truth. Get ready to see the wild in a whole new light!

Wildlife Kids of SWFL is a hands-on nature and wildlife education program for children in grades K-5 and their parent/guardian. Through STEAM based interactive activities, experiments, games, crafts, and outdoor exploration, students will discover the amazing animals and ecosystems of our world. Students will explore a new animal each week and learn about their habitats, adaptations, and important role that they play in their environment. Our mission is simple: inspire the next generation to explore, learn, and protect animals and their habitats through curiosity, creativity, and meaningful outdoor experiences.

Important information:

Program length: 8 weeks
We will meet once per week afterschool at different parks and locations in the Englewood area. Location information will be sent to participants a few days before class.
Designed for children grades K-5. Parent or guardian attendance is required.
Program fee is $200, which covers all class materials and supplies, including educational handouts, crafts, instructor-led activities and outdoor learning experiences for the duration of the 8 week program.
Space is limited and advance registration is required.
