Introduction to Spoon Carving

Spend a relaxing and rewarding morning learning the art of green wood carving in the inspiring surroundings of The Orchard Studio in Dartington. Guided by award-winning craftsman and author Alex Finberg, you’ll learn to work directly with freshly cut wood, using traditional hand tools and age-old techniques carve a beautiful wooden spoon — both practical, tactile, and deeply satisfying to make.

Who is it for?

No prior experience is necessary, ALL are welcome, this is a friendly and welcoming workshop. This beginner-friendly workshop blends calm focus with creative flow.
