Archery Taster Session

Fancy trying something a little different? Join us this month for an exciting Archery Taster Session, where you'll learn the basics of this enjoyable and surprisingly addictive sport in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Our experienced instructor will guide you through everything you need to know, from how to hold the bow and shoot safely to improving your aim. You'll have plenty of practice before stepping back to tackle longer-distance targets, then put your new skills to the test with a friendly competition to crown our Top Archer of the Day. We'll finish with some fun individual and team games, so expect a few laughs along the way!

This group is made possible thanks to Point North and the Enriching Later Lives Fund. The aim is to create a relaxed space where men can get together, try new hobbies, share a laugh, and maybe even discover a new passion to take into later life.

The group is still a blank canvas — we'll continue shaping future sessions around the activities you'd like to try.

The group is free for men aged 40+.
