INTENSIVE THROWING COURSE

Benefit from over 30 hours of focused studio time, with your own dedicated potter's wheel throughout the course, personalised one-to-one tuition, live demonstrations, and plenty of time for independent practice and creative exploration. With delicious lunches, tea, coffee, homemade cakes, and a welcome meal all included, everything is taken care of so you can focus on making.

This course is ideal for anyone looking to develop their wheel-throwing skills, build confidence, and find their own creative voice.

Working in a small, supportive group, your tutors will help you set personal goals and build on your existing skills with expert guidance. You'll refine clay preparation and wedging, improve your centring, and explore a wide range of throwing techniques through demonstrations and individual tuition.

You'll have plenty of uninterrupted throwing time to immerse yourself in the process and make real progress.

If you'd like to work on a larger scale, you'll also learn how to throw with heavier weights of clay and construct larger forms in two or more sections.

Together with Katie and Bridget, you'll work towards throwing more consistent pots while developing a rewarding and enjoyable making practice you'll be proud of.
