Introduction to Acrylic Painting is a six-week course that introduces the fundamentals of painting with acrylics through demonstrations and guided practice each week. You will learn about materials and tools, brush handling, color mixing, value, composition, blending, layering, and texture while completing a series of exercises and paintings.

Throughout the course, you’ll apply these techniques to subjects of your choosing, culminating in a final painting. Instruction is adapted to individual experience levels and progress.

Materials Fee: None due at registration. Students will purchase supplies after the instructor’s recommendation during the first class.
