Compass Arts is hosting a D&D campaign for young adventurers! Players will develop their role-playing skills and use teamwork, imagination, and a sense of humor to overcome obstacles, surprises, and danger in a fantasy adventure facilitated by the Game Moderator. Previous D&D experience suggested, but all players are welcome.

Unlike drop-in games, students in this class will create a continuous story that unfolds over each week of class. This gives them the opportunity to develop their characters, engage in world-building, and learn to cooperate as a group. Because every group is different, every campaign will be unique -- and our Game Moderators are there to make sure the experience is engaging, challenging, and rewarding.

Research shows that role-playing games improve academic skills, social skills, creative thinking, problem-solving, and overall well-being, to name just a few benefits. Of course, your kids will be having too much fun to notice!

We will be in the upstairs classrooms at Beacon First Presbyterian Church, 50 Liberty Street, Beacon, NY 12508.
