Compassionate Care: Understanding Hospice and Palliative Care (Sponsored by Hoag)

This presentation will address Compassionate Care for those experiencing serious illness or at End-of-Life. the discussion will offer a better understanding of Palliative Care and Hospice Care and the benefits and services each provide.

The Course objectives include:

Distinguishing between Palliative Care and Hospice Care
Identifying the members of Palliative Care and Hospice team
Listing the 4 levels of Hospice Care
Outlining the benefits of Palliative and Hospice care
Describing the role of Respite Care
Discussing the Bereavement Support

Late registration is permitted as long as a class series is active on our registration page.
Payment for any class fees is due upon registration.
Limited Refund Policy: If a fee class is cancelled, you will automatically receive a full refund. There are no refunds if you miss a class or drop out. In case of error, forward your class registration by email to the Registrar with an explanation. All refunds are at the discretion of the Registrar and involve a service charge, except when a class is cancelled or in cases of financial hardship.

LBSI has the right to refuse access, services, or program participation privileges to anyone. Violations may be grounds for a warning, suspension or expulsion from the Susi Q Center and the termination of the privilege to use Laguna Beach Senior service.
