We’re excited to welcome you to our upcoming Friendly Mixed Doubles Competition, bringing together players from our four local clubs!

🕙 10:00 AM – 2pm (roughly)

Here’s everything you need to know:

🎾 Format: Fast4 Tennis

We’ll be using a modified Fast4 format, which keeps matches quick and exciting:

First to 4 games wins the set

Tiebreak to 7 at 3–3

Deuce played as normal

This format allows everyone to get lots of matches in a short time.

👫 Teams

This is a mixed doubles event

Two pairs will play at a time - similar to most league formats

You will play both pairs of players from each club - rotation of players is allowed at the conclusion of the first match

Each team must have at least 2 ladies and 2 gentlemen

More players are welcome — the more, the merrier! This helps with rotation and mixing partners. You will be guaranteed at least 1 matches however possibly more if your team is lower in numbers.

🤝 Friendly & Social

While we’re calling it a “competition,” the focus is 100% on fun, meeting new people, and enjoying tennis. This is a great chance to mix with players from other clubs in a relaxed and supportive setting.

💷 Cost

Entry is £3 per person, which helps cover the cost of balls and a special trophy proudly bearing the title:
"Champions of the Coach’s Club Competition"
