Pen-a-palooza! is a hands-on youth woodworking event where students will learn the fundamentals of woodturning while using a wood lathe to create as many finished pens as possible within the allotted class time.

What You'll Learn

Students will learn proper lathe operation, tool safety, shaping, sanding, and finishing techniques while challenging themselves to improve their skills and productivity. The goal is to have fun, build confidence, and see how many quality pens each student can successfully complete!
