Centered on foundational percussion through various styles and skills, this class will introduce improvisation, jazz form, and rhythm section techniques. Rhythm section instruments (drums, bass, piano) will be provided.
Students who wish to bring additional instruments are welcome.
No prior percussion experience is required.

We ask that you please reach out if your student is unable to attend class at any point during the 8 weeks (alyssa@lucslight.org). Doors will open 15 minutes before classes start. Pickup will be at the end of each class.

Students are welcome to join at any time during the 8-week session if space is available!
