Prerequisite: Completion of the 103 CSz Workshop preferred but not required for this Sketch Writing Class.

This class will utilize some improv skills that students have acquired in 101-103

Have you ever been interested in writing sketch comedy but struggled to get going? Join this sketch comedy writing class and learn a variety of ways to get started! Get tips on how to turn your ideas into fully realized written pieces. Throughout the class you'll be working together with other students, on your own, and with help from the instructor to build comedy sketches on different themes and ideas. At times, even utilizing improv techniques and the ability to Yes And, to build a sketch from start to finish.

If you're a fan of shows like SNL, Key & Peele or I Think You Should Leave and have always wanted to give writing comedy sketches a chance, this class is for you!

The course runs over an eight week period. Class Maximum is 16 students. No refunds, no credits due to personal conflict/cancellation.
