Course Overview: Between its covers, this brilliant book opens to reveal whimsical folds, twists and turns! In this hands-on workshop, participants will create a beautiful, one-of-a-kind star book using an assortment of papers in various colours, textures and patterns.

Lucy will guide you step by step through the bookbinding process, from folding and glueing pages to covering boards and adding the finishing details. Along the way, you’ll explore the tools and materials used in bookbinding, see examples and variations of the star book structure and learn tips and techniques you can use in future projects.

All materials will be supplied.

Skill Level: No previous bookbinding experience is required.

Material fee of $10.00 is included in the price.
This course takes place at the Belleville Campus: 376 Wallbridge Loyalist Rd, Belleville, ON K8N 5B9
Campus information, including room number, parking, directions, etc., will be provided closer to the start date.
A refund (less $20.00 administrative fee) will be issued if you withdraw from a class at least seven days before the start date of the class. After this deadline, no refunds will be issued.
If a course is cancelled by Loyalist College, registered students will be provided with a full refund. College decisions to cancel a course will be made seven days before the start date of the class.
