Does your child love to draw and want to continue developing their skills?

This 7-week class is a continuation of our Drawing Skills class, giving young artists the opportunity to build on the fundamentals they have learned while exploring new techniques and more challenging artwork.

New students are welcome! Students do not need to have taken the first section to enroll. We will begin with a review of the essential drawing fundamentals—including line work, shapes, proportion, perspective, shading, texture, composition, and creating the illusion of depth—so that everyone has a solid foundation. We will then continue building on these skills through new drawing projects and creative challenges.

The instructor will guide students through follow-along drawing prompts and step-by-step compositions, helping them learn to break down increasingly detailed images into manageable steps while strengthening their observation skills, confidence, and technique. Returning students will continue to refine and expand the skills they have developed, while new students will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals and successfully join the group.

This is a skill-building class rather than a free-draw session. Students must come ready to listen, follow instructions, practice techniques, and challenge themselves as they continue to grow as artists.

Students must be 7–11 years old to enroll. The class must have a minimum of 3 students to run. Registrations will be fully refunded if minimum enrollment is not met.

We welcome aspiring artists of all ages and abilities. However, if your child requires additional assistance or individualized attention, please call the studio before enrolling in group lessons. Artists must be able to follow directions and work independently. Thank you.
