Marbling on Paper

This class meets from 10:00 until 4:00, with a 30 minute break lunch (please pack your own, lunch will not be provided). In the workshop, participants will learn the basics of marbling acrylic paint and transferring it onto paper: preparing the paint, treating the paper with a mordant, floating the paint onto the thickened water, combing and raking the paint into intricate patterns, and finally pulling the prints. Each participant can hope go home with 10-12 of their own unique marbled papers.

This class is made possible by the South Haven Area Community Foundation and the generosity of Sandie Brayman. Pre-registration is required, this class will fill up quickly and may form a waiting list.
