Knife Control Concepts Clinic: Posts, Grabs, and Takedowns

Knife attacks are chaotic, and varied. One thing that happens A LOT is posting, framing, and grabbing with the support hand while attacking with the blade. In this 3 hour clinic we'll look at practical concepts, training drills, and pressure testing for dealing with the support hand. From there, we'll look at different options for getting the attacker to the ground to increase control, make an opening to run away, or create opportunities to access our own weapon.

This clinic is hands one, active, and dynamic. No matter your training background, you will pull away concepts, drills, and technical understanding to enhance your ability to train for knife survival. All attendees will need to bring a long sleeve sweatshirt (preferably a pullover w/ no zippers) to be pulled, stretched, and potentially torn during training.

The Rundown:

The session is three hours of hands on training utilizing elements of wrestling, and striking for practical knife defense
All attendees will receive free access to our online Posts, Grabs, and Frames course to continue practicing after the session.
DO NOT bring ANY live weapons into the facility. All training blades will be supplied by KCC for the session.
The session will begin promptly at 4:30pm and run until 7:30pm.
Feel free to take notes, pictures, and videos from the session.
