After School: Relief Printing & Principles of Art Grades 4th - 6th

Class Description:

What can we do with blocks, inks, and surfaces? A LOT! We will have 6 weeks to explore the possibilities of this ancient art medium!

Through exploring different relief printing techniques we will make a variety of art pieces connected to the principles and elements of art and fun themes!

Some of our tools will be leaves, trash, legos, cardboard, vegetables and more!

Students will need a healthy snack, water bottle and art friendly clothes!

Teacher Bio:

Emily has worked in the arts non-profit world and arts education for over fifteen years. For the past decade she taught art and animation at a public arts magnet school in Oregon to 6th-12th grade students. She has her B.Arch, M.Arch and Masters in Teaching Art.
