"Thriller" Dance Class

Friday, October 23, 2026 from 6-8pm at the Settlement Camp Theater (724 Wolcott Ave, Beacon, NY)

Thriller night is coming! For the first time ever, we'll be clearing the dance floor at our Night of the Living Dead Dance for a zombie flash mob. Be part of the fun by coming to Thriller Dance Class! Even if you're not going to the party, you're welcome to join this class to learn the iconic Halloween moves that choreographer Michael Peters created for Michael Jackson.

We will be offering two "Thriller" dance classes: one in the afternoon on Saturday, October 17 at First Presbyterian Church, and one on the evening of Friday, October 23 at the Settlement camp. You can sign up for either class, or save $5 when you sign up for both! (If it takes you a while to learn choreo, we recommend signing up for both classes.) Your teachers will be Alvin Ailey-trained dancer Sasha Van't Hul and Compass Arts founder Gina Samardge, who have been sharpening their nails in anticipation. You won't want to miss this!

Please note that tickets to the "Thriller" dance class do not include entry to the Halloween party on Oct 24, which is a fundraiser for our nonprofit organization. You may purchase party tickets here with an option to add dance class tickets!
