Balsawood Butterfly Ornament Painting

Ages: 8-adult (parent must stay and supervise children under 12)

Let's paint a butterfly ornament just in time for the holidays to hang or gift! We will be painting hand-carved balsa wood ornaments crafted by independent artisan cooperatives in Nicaragua that are fair trade and sustainable.

No instruction will be offered so you can paint them to look like a real or imaginary butterfly!

Class Note: cost is to paint one butterfly. All supplies are included and are non-toxic. Make sure to wear clothes you are ok with getting paint on! We will be using acrylic paints which are hard to get out of fabric.
