Mosaic Experience Required

$65 Tuition plus Supplies

Grouting 101 is designed for students who still have UFO (Un-Finished Objects) to grout, as well as for those who want to learn more about the grouting process. Come with an assembled project that needs to be grouted, or just attend lecture-style. The class will include a demonstration, guided hands-on grouting time, as well as answers to questions like:

Do all mosaics need to be grouted? If not, why not? How do I know what color of grout to use? How do I change the grout color? How can I grout with more than one color? Is the grouting process different with exterior mosaics? Do I seal the grout when I’m finished?

Grouting decisions can have a big technical and aesthetic impact on your project. All of these questions (and more) will be answered during class; take your work to the next level with grouting confidence! Don’t miss this great opportunity to complete your project while gaining a better understanding of this finishing step.
