Learn at your own pace in person, then follow up with my step by step online tutorials for these four cute beginner projects.

A complete kit with all the tools and materials is available for $25 but you can also use your own.

Lesson 1: Crochet a Basket -
single crochet, double crochet

This lessons will teach you how to hold your crochet hook and work correctly while making your first project, a round basket

Lesson 2: Crochet a Flower -
chain stitch and single crochet

Crochet a flower to use as a decorative pin

Lesson 3: Crochet a Classic potholder with picot edging -

Chain stitch, single crochet, picot stitch

How to make a rectangle and "read" your work for perfectly straight edges

Lesson 4: Crochet a mouse / cat toy -

Single crochet, increase, decrease

Learn to crochet in a circle and 3D to get you set up to do Amigurumis (crochet stuffies)
