In this class Anna from Fabritzia Design will show you how to design, carve and print your own linocut.

Linocut is a printmaking technique, in which a block is used for a relief surface. A design is cut into the surface with a gouge, and after inking a print is taken.

A fun introduction to the world of printmaking, this class is perfect for a beginner or for anyone looking to explore the technique again. All materials are provided.

You will leave the workshop with your carved plates, all your prints and a detailed list of the equipment we have used and where it can be purchased from.

Anna is a freelance designer and printmaker, working from her studio in North Yorkshire. Anna has been printmaking for 25 years. Her work has been featured in Ideal Home and on the new Channel 4 series ‘Craft it Yourself’. She produces her own range of handprinted art and stationary which she sells on Etsy.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and those looking to explore a new creative medium in a relaxed, supportive setting.
