Workshop Description:

Join acclaimed artist Monte Yellow Bird Sr. for an immersive mixed-media workshop exploring self-discovery, personal expression, and transformation. Working on black canvases, participants will use chalk, paint, color, symbols, and music to explore their experiences, emotions, challenges, and the influences that shape who they are. Through guided reflection and intuitive mark-making, students will transform the “unknown” into a unique visual story of growth and resilience. No previous painting experience is necessary — artists of all skill levels are welcome.
