Conveyor Maintenance Training Program

Target Audience: Maintenance Technicians, Shift Mechanics, and Line Operators. Prerequisites: Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with site safety (LOTO) protocols. Objectives: By the end of this session, trainees will be able to identify can-line specific wear, safely replace modular links and wear strips, and troubleshoot tracking and tension issues to reduce unexpected downtime.

Morning: Fundamentals & Inspection

09:30 - 10:30	Preventative Maintenance (PM)	Visual inspection techniques for sprockets, idlers, and bearings. Spotting irregular wear patterns caused by aluminum dust or ink/varnish build-up.

10:45 - 12:00	Tensioning & Tracking (Hands-on)	Proper catenary sag measurement for modular belts. Adjusting tail pulleys for straight tracking to prevent edge wear.

Afternoon: Repair & Troubleshooting
