Course description: Delivering an Equal, Ethical & Exceptional Experience for All

Navigating fair housing responsibilities and ethical obligations can be overwhelming in today’s modern real estate practice. This course examines the historical foundations of housing inequality, current federal, state, and local fair housing laws, as well as emerging issues in the housing industry. The course also provides a practical, scenario-based exploration of the REALTOR® Code of Ethics through real-world case studies, interactive discussions, and applied analysis.
This elective WILL count as your 4 hour Elective course with NCREC. It *may ALSO count toward your NAR Mandatory Ethics and Fair Housing requirements for the cycle ending 12/31/27. Check with your Regional Association of REALTORS before registering. Note that RRAR *will accept this course.

Please note the following important CE guidelines:

Licensees must complete eight (8) hours per year of continuing education (CE) in order to renew your license on active status as of July 1, 2027. Four (4) of the required CE credit hours must be obtained by completing the Mandatory Update course (GENUP), or, for licensees with BIC or BIC eligible status per the NCREC, the BIC Annual Review (BICAR/BICUP), offered only synchronously (instructor-led, scheduled). The remaining four (4) CE credit hours may be obtained by taking an elective topic course in the classroom or online, including self-paced courses. Do not complete the same elective credit course two years in a row. All CE courses provided by Go School are approved by the NCREC and offer 4 credit hours each class.
