The Positive Space Workshop builds understanding and practical skills for creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for 2SLGBTQ+ students, employees and visitors at Loyalist College.

Participants will explore gender and sexual diversity, learn key terms, challenge common myths and consider what it means to be an ally. Through discussion and practical scenarios, participants will build confidence in responding to bias and exclusion and learn about resources and supports available at Loyalist.

Positive Space reflects our shared commitment to safety, respect, human rights and belonging for everyone.

You don’t have to have all the right words yet. This workshop is designed to build your awareness and understanding of 2SLGBTQ+ identities, lived experiences and culture. Bring your openness to learn and your willingness to take action in allyship.
