The countdown has begun!

We hope everything is going smoothly as you prepare for your exchange semester this Spring! While you’re counting down the days, and to make the wait a little more enjoyable, we would love to invite you to our Pre-departure & Goodbye event on 10 November.

Predeparture meeting (17:00-18:15, REC A0.01)
What can you expect?
✅ Last tips and tricks
✅ Information about safety abroad
✅ Panel with former exchange students
✅ Opportunity to ask any last-minute questions

Goodbye event (18:15-19:30, REC A Hall)
What can you expect?
Right after the pre-departure meeting, we will all gather at the REC A Hall for the Goodbye event, organized in collaboration with Erasmus Student Network (ESN). We invite all future exchange students, as well as some former exchange students and some students currently on exchange at the UvA to come together, have a drink, and share tips, stories, and experiences on preparing for an exchange. It is a great opportunity to meet each other, ask questions, and enjoy a nice atmosphere before your next chapter begins!

Please only register for this event if you are an UvA student going on exchange during the second semester of the 2026-2027 academic year.
