Join ADK educator Noelle Wobig as she unpacks 1.1 billion years of geologic history and the forces that shaped the Adirondacks we know today.

The uniqueness of the Adirondacks attracts thousands of visitors each year, with many exploring the High Peaks for the first time. What attracts people to the Adirondacks is often what is most ancient about them.

Learn about this history and how ADK is committed to bringing science that matters to life, helping visitors understand, appreciate, and protect the natural resources that make the Adirondacks unique.

During this exclusive online event, we’ll highlight some of ADK’s accomplishments in 2026, discuss our approach to education, and answer any of your questions on these and other topics we explore.
